New Raleigh shared an interesting picture on Instagram this week – call it an announcement, or a warning, whichever you prefer – but it looks like an event called “Slide the City” is heading to Downtown Raleigh’s Glenwood Southern on Saturday, May 2, 2015 from 11 a.m. until 7 p.m.

At least in this situation, there’s certainly no reason to complain that Raleigh is “too hilly” (ie: Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon).
The event takes place in cities all over the country – looks like it’s family-friendly, but the lines… not so friendly.
